Tårngården

Many large and small nurseries characterized Rødovre until around 1960.

Thus, Tårngården is also located on nursery land; namely Poulsen Roser's former land.

Tårngården was built in 1975 by the company "Larsen and Nielsen".

Tårngården consists of 5 apartment blocks with a total of 104 apartments, divided into 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, between 27m² and 89m².

The 2 and 3 bedroom apartments are all built with an interior balcony. All of these balconies are now screened off, so that they can be used as a kind of conservatory/winter garden. The balconies have no built-in heating and are generally not insulated, which is why they cannot be considered an extra room.

Tårngården is located very centrally in Rødovre, right next to Rødovre Centrum.

At the same time – and despite the central location right on the very busy Tårnvej – Tårngården is quite secluded.

We have a full-time caretaker at Tårngården, who constantly ensures that the area is in proper condition, as the residents want it.
